The Epworth Fire Department received a page on October 13th at 1556, for a downed electric pole. Upon arrival, they found a truck had backed into a utility at the Quick and Handi, located at 206 S. Center Ave. in Epworth. The driver of the truck was not injured. The department blocked off the area and was on standby while Alliant Energy replaced the pole. They were on scene for about 5 hours.
