Congratulations WD Girls Basketball Team

The Epworth Fire Department along with the Farley and Centralia-Peosta Fire Departments provided escort to the Western Dubuque Bobcats Girls Varsity Basketball on their return to the high school following their awesome run at a class 4A state basketball title. The Bobcats finished as the runner up to Harlan, capping off a very successful season and great state tournament. The caravan proceeded on Highway 20 from Dyersville to Epworth and then through Epworth ending up at the high school for a pep rally. The girls, coaches, parents and students are to be congratulated and can be very proud of the excellent season, accomplishing many feats along the way. Great Job Bobcats!
