| Members of the Epworth Fire Department have just returned from the Fire Department Instructors Conference in Indianapolis, Indiana. The Conference and Trade Show is the largest of its kind and members from the Epworth Fire Department have attended annually for the past few decades. Over 25,000 firefighters and instructors from all over the world attend the event. Members attend seminars in which cutting edge technology and new innovations for the fire service are taught by the best instuctors in the nation. New products are introduced and available for demonstration at the show. Numerous classes are instructed in which firefighter safety and survival are stressed to the attendees. The classes also show firefighters new concepts and cutting edge technology that deal with the ever changing fire service. The Epworth Fire Department feels it is necessary to attend sessions as this to offer the most current and up to date service and technology to the people we serve. Members of the Epworth Fire Department that attended were Asst. Chief Ronnie Kramer, Captain Dennis Beitzel and Fire Instructors Al Esch and Kyle Theisen.
