At approximately 4:12 P.M. on Saturday July 18th, the Dubuque County Sheriffs department was reporting a car accident with personal injury and entrapment. An initial size up showed a two car collision. It appeared that a car heading south on Biermann road pulled out in front of a pickup heading west on US Hwy 20. The car was struck on the driver's side and pushed down the road and into the median. The pickup, after hitting the car, came to rest on the south side of the eastbound US Hwy 20 traffic. The 2 passengers in the car were transported to Mercy Medical Center in Dubuque by Epworth Ambulances, and the 2 passengers in the truck were transported to The Finley Hospital in Dubuque by Farley Ambulances.
