The Epworth Fire Department was dispatched at 11:46am on January 4th, 2023 for the report of a smoke in the back of the BP gas station located at 206 Center Ave. Upon arrival members of the EFD found a small electrical fire with active sparking. Members of the EFD were able to minimize the damage, ventilate the smoke in the back room and clear the scene in less that 30 min. Scene was then turned back over to the business and their electricians were notified.
