On Tuesday November 22, 2022 at 1:12pm the Epworth Fire Department was notified by the Dubuque County 911 Center of structure fire located at 8039 Hartbecke RD, Epworth. Upon arrival, firefighters found a fully engulfed shed fire. Contents of the shed kept EFD members on scene for about 2 hours. The Epworth Fire Department was also assisted at the scene by the Dubuque County Sheriff’s Office and Maquoketa Valley REC. Cause of the fire is unknown and there were no injuries.
