On Monday, October 17th. 2022 the Epworth Fire Department conducted their monthly drill. With it being harvest season our friends from The National Education Center for Agricultural Safety trained the EFD in Grain Bin extrication techniques. The evening started off with an hour of classroom time followed by a 3hr training exercise at the EFD. The EFD would like to thank officers Dan Neenan and Larry Wilgenbusch for teaching this class and a special thanks to the Iowa Fire Service Training Bureau for funding classes like this.
