Epworth Fire CPR instructors went to Trappist Caskets to teach employees CPR and first aid. During the class the employees learned the importance of activating the emergency response system, how to do chest compressions, use an Automatic External Defibrillator (AED) and basic first Aid. Trained citizens in the community that can start life saving measures until EMS can arrive on scene increase the chance of survival in the event of a cardiac arrest. For more information, please contact us at the fire station. We conduct community CPR throughout the year at our station.
