On Monday night April 12th, the Epworth Fire Department members conducted their regular fire hose testing. This is a rigorous test of all hose closely analyzed while under constant pressure for a set amount of time based on NFPA standards. All of the hose was removed from the four fire engines, tested, cleaned and restocked in an orderly fashion. Over 8,850 feet of hose was tested in a matter of 8 hours.
This testing assures all equipment meets the most up to date standards and assures safety for all our members. 25 members attended and thanks to everyone for their hard work this night.
