The Epworth Fire Department offers condolences to the family of retired Captain Ronnie Connolly who passed away Thursday, October 29, 2020 at the age of 78. Ronnie served on the Epworth Fire Department for 32 years from 1963-1995. He was promoted to Lieutenant in 1976 and to Captain in 1979 - a position he held for 16 years until his retirement. Ron also served as the President of the Epworth Community Volunteer Firemen in 1977. Ron was not only active with the fire department, he was also very active in the community including the Epworth Legion, Little League Baseball and other city committees. Ronnie was among the many members who worked so hard to build the old fire station in 1972-1973. He was a dedicated volunteer who responded to many calls in the 32 years he served. He will be missed by all of his family, friends, firefighters and neighbors. Thank you for your service and may you rest in peace Ronnie.

Can you please advise how to make a donation to the fire department in the memory of Capt. Connolly?

Thank you
Bonnie
