On Saturday January 14th, 2017 the Epworth Community Volunteer Fire Department held it's Annual Presidents Party. Current and Honoree members along with Tom Hancock Family members were in attendance for dinner and awards. Dennis Beitzel was given a Service Award for 25 years of service to the Fire Department. Tony Krafl was awarded Fire Fighter of the Year. Tony has been a member for 7 years and is a Firefighter and currently President of the fire department. Kevin Anstoetter & Gary Wilgenbusch were given Retirement Axe.

Also recognized during the evening were new members to the department in 2016. Ben Wolf, Trevor Wilwert, Kyla Horsfield and Kyle Gansen.

Tom Hancock dedication was given to the EFD Meeting Room.
