On Monday, October 3rd, 2016 around 8:30 p.m. the Epworth Fire and Ambulance was dispatched to a motor vehicle collision on Main Street West near 6th Avenue SW in Epworth. Three patients were in the vehicle that struck a parked car on Main Street. Two patients were transported to Mercy Medical Center in Dubuque with non life threatening injuries and the third patient was not injured, refusing treatment at the scene. Main Street remained closed for about 1 hour while the vehicles were removed. All patients self extricated from the vehicle upon arrival of EMS. The Dubuque County Sheriff's Office and the Peosta Police Department assisted at the scene.
