Monastery Road MVC

On Tuesday, February 26th, 2013 at 1634 hours the Epworth Ambulance and Fire Department were paged out for a motor vehicle collision with injuries on Monastery Road about a mile east of New Melleray Abbey. Two cars collided on very slick, snow covered roads. One person was transported by ambulance and another patient sought medical treatment on his own. One person was later transfered to The University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics for treatment of injuries.
