Monday, January 25, 2010. The Epworth Fire Department responded to a one vehicle accident on US Highway 20 just west of Epworth. This accident occurred in the same area as the accident last Sunday, with similar circumstances and results. We had strong winds with blowing snow Monday, making the road very icy. The driver was headed West when he/she lost control and ended up in the East bound lanes. The driver was transported to Mercy Medical Center - Dubuque. No one else was in the vehicle. The name and condition of the driver are not being released.
