Epworth Fire and EMS responds to Trench Collapse

On Friday, May 19th, 2017 at 0831 AM the Epworth Fire and Ambulance were paged to 409 East Main Street in Epworth for a subject who was involved in a trench collapse. Patient was reported to be trapped in the trench up to the knees. Upon arrival of emergency personnel it was determined the construction crew was able to extricate the victim. One patient was taken to Mercy Medical Center in Dubuque with non life threatening injuries.
