Summer Safety at Camp Little Cloud for DMS 6th Grade

The Epworth Fire Department participated in Camp Week with the Drexler Middle School 6th grade on Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at Camp Little Cloud North of Epworth. As part of their experience, the Epworth Fire Department instructed the students on various safety topics concerning fire fighting, emergency medical services, crime scene investigation, fire communications and lawn mower safety. Epworth Fire Department Members included Firefighters Tom Berger, Brian McAuliffe, Dan Neenan and Gwen Hall-Driscoll. Also assisting was Charlotte Halvorson from the National Educational Center for Agricultural Safety, Ric Jones from NICC EMS Education and 911 Communications Manager Mark Murphy. The Epworth Fire Department has been attending and providing safety talks and tours for DMS at Camp Little Cloud for over 17 years.
